Get Buzzed

BUZZ..BUZZ...snooze...BUZZ...BUZZ...snooze...BUZZ...BUZZ...UH OH!!!

After a mad dash to the bathroom to begin the morning ritual, the drill sargent emerges (for those of us with kids).

Time to get up.....get up...GET UP....I have to GO!...get dressed...GET DRESSED!

It's a flustered frenzy to get everything done (or close to done)  and out the door.

You know the drill. No, it is not just because you pressed “snooze,” it is WHY you pressed “snooze.”

We are tired. Our plates are more full now than in anytime in human history. Expectations keep rising and so does our anxiety. Stress has taken center stage as the leading cause of funerals.

How can we side step this deadly dance? How do we take back our energy, our power our LIFE?

I suggest something simple, after all, if it is not simple, we won’t do it...well, I won’t.

As you set your alarm, smile and think of 5 things you are thankful for.
When it goes off, TURN IT OFF, smile and think of 5 things to be thankful for.  

Now you are off on the right foot. Your day has started in gratitude. Beautiful!

It’s an alarm. Let it WAKE YOU UP!
